In SteamWorld Dig, Rusty collects Ores and Gems to sell so he can buy Upgrades and Items. They are the main source of income for the people of Tumbleton. Ores are common, while gems are rarer. They appear in the caves. Some ores are impossible to harvest without the Jet Engine or Hook Shot.
